He worked as a prison guard for 10 years and he has written tons of "trash" poems criticizing the society which he lives in. Inspired by Dian Qiu's poems and photos, Jin Zhong started drawing Dian Qiu in 2012, and has produced over 300 strange, funny even mind-blowing drawings. Jin Zhong is a poet and artist in exile in San Diego, California. He is also a translator of poetry. His recent work of translations is "The Caravan: Contemporary Chinese Poetry".
