Available for download, IK Multimedia SampleTank 4 is a virtual instrument that gives you a broad range of sample-based instruments for your composition or production work. This version provides over 100GB of high-quality instruments, all of them ideal for layering, mixing, and editing your own original sounds and grooves.

SampleTank 4 comes with 6000 sampled instruments that range across the gamut. Pianos, drums, basses, guitars, synthesizers, brass, strings, vocals, and exotic sounds are all at your fingertips. You can find any type of sound you want quickly in the instrument's overhauled GUI, and tailor them to your needs with new and powerful editing options. You can also change them via a new modulation matrix, and put the instrument through dynamic groove players, including an arpeggiator, a strummer, and pattern/loop players. SampleTank 4 also introduces a new live mode, so you can use these virtual instruments in live settings. This mode includes the ability to create entire set lists and map parameters to your specific predilections.

A 16-channel mixer, three sample engines, and a slew of effects are on hand to provide you with a panoply of sound-sculpting options. The software can operate as an AU, VST2, VST3, or AAX plug-in, and it can also operate in standalone mode.
