About the author...The animals I paint are the everyday workers, the faithful companions. With my paintings I aim for a feeling of connection, of comfort and familiarity. I love to work with colour and shadow, light and texture, all the while keeping in mind that the emotion conveyed and felt by the viewer is my main focus. This has been my passion and my living for over 40 years. I work in Acrylic and in Oils, always realism, but at times highly detailed, at other times, more painterly.
