Not only that-you get two sets of the aforementioned items, and you're able to route your signal through each model in any manner you choose; mono chains, stereo setups, and dual stages of amplification are possible, as are creative combinations in practically any assortment you could cobble together.
It is also worth noting that the tools in AmpliTube 4 work well in conjunction with analog synths, electric pianos, drums, and even soft-synths. This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms, and will work in VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX formats running at 64-bit.
AmpliTube 4 Highlights
Dynamic Response through Sponge & Sag
The amplifier/cabinet combinations in AmpliTube 4 utilize "Sponge and Sag" processing to replicate, in a more faithful manner, the dynamic interaction between the power amp and the speakers, aiming to eliminate the "harshness" found in the upper frequencies of other software
Acoustic Simulator
AmpliTube 4 features an Acoustic Sim pedal that aims to transmute your electric guitar into an acoustic; it is tweakable with on-board controls and features three styles of acoustic body and body-tops
Effects-Loop Stage
AmpliTube 4 provides an additional slot in the signal chain right after the pre-amp section but before the power stage; this slot lets you add in up to four daisy-chained effects (including all of the stompboxes) for signal processing before hitting the power section
Put Effects Anywhere in the Chain
You can use many of the stompbox and rack effects in any of the rack-effects slots; conversely, you can use rack effects in the stompbox slots too
8-Channel Recorder
AmpliTube 4 can operate as an 8-channel DAW, allowing you to capture, loop, edit, mix, and export audio in the stand-alone application
MIDI-Controllable Looper
Dubbed the Super Looper, this feature is a 4-part looping station suitable for laying down multi-part backing tracks; each track includes level and panning controls, and can be instantiated by MIDI-foot controller or mouse click
UltraTuner
AmpliTube 4 features an upgraded tune-section which delivers accuracy down to 0.01 of a cent

IK Multimedia Ampeg SVX - Bass Amplifier and Cabinet Emulation Software (Plug-In, Download)
Available for download, IK Multimedia's Ampeg SVX is software that emulates the world-renowned and well-regarded sound of Ampeg amplifier heads and speaker cabinets. It also provides models of the microphones used to capture these cabinets in the studio, as well as a comprehensive pedalboard with overdrive, wah, chorus, envelope filtering, and more. You'll even find a digital, accurate, and chromatic tuner.
It is primarily intended to be used with electric basses, though it has been known to sound good on guitars, keyboards, or any signal to which you'd like to lend the sound of an emulated bass amplifier. Indeed, it has been designed with a stereo path to encourage such experimentation.
The software uses Dynamic Saturation Modeling and Volumetric Response Modeling technologies to provide a realistic emulation of Ampeg gear. As such, it is a suitable choice for producers, mixing engineers, and other studio stalwarts looking to impart more mojo upon a relatively dry DI'ed bass tone. It should be noted, however, that integration with IK Multimedia's series of hardware products offers you the ability to use this software onstage, and therefore, to bring the sound of Ampeg hardware to your live gig in a comparatively compact form factor.
Many presets have been provided to get you started. They are tagged extensively for advanced search, and are designed to offer great bass timbres out of the gate. Any preset you build for yourself can be shared, if you choose, using Preset Xchange-though you can also keep them to yourself; the decision is yours.
The software operates in 64-bit, is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms, and works in Audio Units, VST2, VST3, and AAX formats. It also operates as a standalone application, in which case you'll have access to a multitrack recorder to capture ideas.
Key Features
Pedalboard with Eight Stompboxes
In this section, you'll find a selection of bass-tone modifiers in stompbox form. These bass behemoths include the SCP-OD Bass Overdrive, the SCP-OCT Bass Octave, an analog chorus, analog delay, envelope filter, bass wah, compressor and volume pedal. These can be arranged in any order you choose, and they drive the amplifier-head directly. Also, you can assign knobs (parameters) to a controller like the StealthPedal with a simple right-click of the mouse.
Four Modeled Amplifier Heads
The Ampeg SVX provides four amp heads for use: the SVT-CL, the B-15 PortaFlex, the SVT-4Pro, and the BA500. The SVT-Classic provides Ampeg's patented hi- and low-boost buttons, as well a traditional three-band tone stack with selectable center frequencies, a gain knob, and a master knob. The PortaFlex offers a more vintage tube-like tone. The BA-500 and the SVT-4Pro both offer graphic EQ's alongside their traditional tone stack, though the SVT-4Pro also provides onboard compression. The BA-500 is modeled on a combo-amplifier, but the preamp and power sections have been separated from the cabinet sections with digital, surgical precision.
Six Modeled Amplifier Cabinets and Corresponding Microphones Provided
Your choices are as follows: The SVT810E-a mainstay of major tours, arenas, clubs, and stages-the SVT410H, the BXT-410H, the B-15 Single 15", the BA500 2x10, and the PB2x12. All cabinets have been realistically modelled down to the knobs on the back which affect the high frequencies. Any cabinet can be mixed and matched with any amplifier head. You'll also find six microphone choices for capturing the audio of these cabs: four dynamic mics and two condensers. These can be moved around the speaker cones with the click-and-drag of your mouse.
