Tender celebrates the outcasts who, defying convention, have served as activists in pursuit of a desirable place to live and thrive. In Tender, Flyaway Productions distilled a century of San Francisco's history into four parts, each representing a new wave of activism in the Tenderloin. The In and Above the Street Residency included 10 free performances, 8 open rehearsals, 2 curbside conversations, lectures at the Tenderloin and Asian Art Museum, and a walking tour of the neighborhood.
